HOW DOES THE REBATE WORK?
Under Canada’s Clean Fuel Regulations (CFR), home EV charging can generate carbon credits by replacing gasoline with clean electricity.
Those credits are sold to fuel suppliers and used to fund EV infrastructure.
Chargelab manages the CFR reporting and sale of the carbon credits.
Through this system, Chargelab is able to subsidize the cost of a free smart Level 2 EV charger, installed by Lia Electric.
In addition to the free charger, you receive an ongoing reward of $0.03 per kWh for home charging, paid quarterly.
